Hyaluronic acid belongs to the mucopolysaccharides and is found in the basic substance of connective tissue. Due to its ability to attract and retain large amounts of moisture, it is considered one of the best intensive moisturizers, protecting the skin from drying out even in low humidity.

Birch extract is an aqueous-glycolic extract of birch leaves. Due to its intensive circulation-promoting and astringent effect, it is preferred in hair care products to stimulate the scalp and reduce hair loss.

It is obtained from the leaves of the aloe plant and is rich in biostimulants, vitamins, minerals and trace elements. With its moisturizing, soothing and revitalizing effect, it soothes irritations such as inflammation and helps regenerate damaged skin.

Sorbitol is a chemically higher alcohol, similar to glycerine, with excellent skin compatibility. In nature, sorbitol is a component of many fruits. It is mainly obtained from glucose. In cosmetics, its water-retaining, emollient properties are used in moisturising, softening skin creams.

Tocopherols (vitamin E and its compounds) act as a "protective guard" for the skin, using their antioxidant effect to neutralise free radicals that attack the cell membrane and trigger premature skin ageing. Thanks to their moisturising, circulatory and tissue-strengthening properties, they also keep the skin smooth and fresh and reduce age spots. In nature, tocopherols are found in cereal germs, nuts, vegetable oils and egg yolk.

Glycerine (glycerol) is a trivalent alcohol. It is a clear, colorless, thick liquid that tastes sweet and is hygroscopic (water-binding). Used as a humectant and lubricant in many preparations.

Allantoin occurs naturally in wheat germ and is a dermatologically important active ingredient in cosmetics. Eliminates irritation, roughness and cracking of the skin and restores a soft, smooth and healthy appearance.
